Stewart White is returning to Olmsted Plein Air Invitational in 2017. In 2016, Mr. White won Best of Show in Atlanta’s Olmsted Plein Air, along with First Place in the Solomon Island Quick Draw. Previously he was awarded Best in Show at the Plein Air Salon and Plein Air Easton. He is currently Senior Associate Architectural Illustrator at the Design Collective in Baltimore, Maryland.
Mr. White has painted several institutional murals including American Museum of Natural History Orkin Insect Zoo; 8 murals for the Smithsonian Museum of American History America On the Move; Winning the Cold War for the U.S. Naval Academy; 70 Baseball Hall of Fame portraits in Arlington’s Ameriquest Field; along with a Year 2000 Millennium Sculpture for Baltimore.
Mr. White has been President of The Mid -Atlantic Plein-Air Painters Association since 2012, and was President of The American Society of Architectural Illustrators in 2012. He is also professionally affiliated with Baltimore Watercolor Society; National Watercolor Society, Signature member; American Watercolor Society, Signature Member; Salamagundi Club NYC; Toastmasters International Charter Club President in 2013 and the Urban Land Institute.
Mr. White recently has been featured in Plein Air Today Magazine.
