Master Artists compete for one of the largest purses in the country and the the prestige of winning The Olmsted trophy.

Olmsted Plein Air Invitational is produced by Olmsted Arts, Inc., a 501(c)3 non profit organization that is dedicated to nurturing the visual and cultural art education and experience through the art of plein air painting. Your donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

We rely on charitable contributions, without them, we simply wouldn’t be here and we wouldn’t be able to bring the high quality artists, art exhibits and events nor would we be able to continue providing opportunities for inspiring young artists, education and support our community outreach programs.

Olmsted Plein Air is grateful for all of the support it receives and gratefully accepts donations in any amount. Your support as Sponsors, FRIENDS of Olmsted Plein Air and purchase of paintings ensures we are able to sustain our mission and deliver an art experience unique to our community while documenting our extraordinary landscapes.

Our Nationally recognized artists will paint for seven exciting days and their beautiful works will be evaluated by an expert panel of three Awards Judges.

Each artist will be vying for their piece of the $30,000 purse plus the prestige of winning the 2018 Olmsted Plein Air Invitational.

All 8 days, all outdoor painting events are open to the public. Lectures, tours, lectures and demonstrations will be on-going throughout the week. High School, Design and University students will be able to study the works being created outdoors.
