Jeff Williams

Stillwater, OK

A retired professor of architecture, Williams has won national and international design competitions that provided opportunities to travel extensively through Europe, experiencing various cultures and developing his drawing skills. He taught architectural design for 31 years and led numerous student groups on summer Europe sketching excursions while simultaneously maintaining an award winning architectural design consulting practice.

In 2017 he retired to pursue his passions, watercolor painting and travel. Williams is currently creating paintings both in studio and “en plein air,” is an invited member of the well-known Rattlesnake Gang, and has rapidly become a regular on the professional “plein air circuit.”

“Rockin’ Bass Rocks” was recognized as the outstanding watercolor in the international Boldbrush Competition in January 2020.
