In 2016, Brenda Boylan won the First Place and the Patron’s Award in the Willamette Valley Lavender Plein Air and the Bill McEnroe Award at the 30th annual Northwest Pastel Society event. 

In 2015, she won the Dr. Edward H. Boseker Award at Laguna Plein Air Invitational; Outstanding Pastel at the FASO Bold Brush; third place Sponsor’s Award at Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts; was a Finalist in the FASO Bold Brush and was a Featured Artist at both the 2nd and 3rd Annual Plein Air Conventions in Monterey, CA.  Nationally known, her work has been displayed at The National Arts Club NYC, the Butler Institute of American Art Museum, The Oregon Historical Museum, The Portland Art Museum, and the Favell Museum.

Ms Boylan is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America; a Signature Member Northwest Pastel Society;  a Signature Member of Laguna Plein Air Painters Association; an Associate Member American Impressionist Society; a Member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast and a Member of Beaverton Arts Commmission.
