Dills Memorial Award 2011 Plein Air Easton, Vanishing Landscapes Award 2010 and 2009 Plein Air Easton, Second Place National Landscape Competition The Artist’s Magazine.
For three consecutive years she has been a featured, on-stage demonstrator at Plein Air Magazine’s Annual Plein Air Convention, and has taught the Hensche-Hawthorne approach to seeing and painting color in classes at American Artist Magazine's Weekend with the Masters, at her home studio in Petaluma CA, and at workshops.

Camille is past founder of the Laguna Beach Plain Air Painting Invitational, an acknowledged authority on color, and regularly serves as an entry and awards judge.
